Humans love to explore. Strangely enough even horrible places – like Mars. Let’s see how building a Mars base could work and how insanely nerve-wracking exactly it would be.

Btw Would'nt the radioactive power "stay" longer than on earth because of the high radiation of the sun (or did they mean other radiation IF there is other radiation lel)

The last thing Earth needs is to send away a whole team of "very determined and competent people."

Why not wearing all covered in white costumes, without any frontal glasses (so no exposition to solar rays)? We could use a bunche of cameras and little screens and, of course, internal systems protected by an isolating system... might be heavy stuff but hey! Make it weight as heavy as 3 times the wearer's weight and you can walk on mars as easily as on earth! Tell me ur opinion ;p

Wait Kurgesagt, during dust storms wind turbines can become useful since winds are really strong. The turbines will produce lots of power during storms.

Wouldn't it be smarter to set up a base on one of Mars's moons?

I think that we are obsessed with leaving Earth for we are afraid that sooner or later we will make this planet unlivable and need some where to escape to.

We spend so much money going into space for nothing of any value. Why don't we use this money to explore the depths of our oceans and discover things that would probably help us more on this planet.

And there's an even bigger challenge then colonizing/terraforming Mars, doing the same to Venus. We'd have to somehow thin out its atmosphere and do a bunch of other stuff before we could even THINK of sending people to its surface.

If there is an emergency on the planet, like, a demon invasion from hell because some experiments involving teleportation has gone really bad.

"Cities illuminating the dark martian night." We didn't even have the time to colonize Mars and you already think about how to light-pollute martian night skies :-D LOL
