Well Snap-On has a lifetime warrantee so I think it’s a safe bet to get from them if you have access to a Snap-On dealer.

40 plus years for me. Mostly motorcycles. 1968 Beaumont SD 396 HC in my parents garage in the 70’s. Made lots of mistakes. Didn’t know what a torque wrench was. Still have most of my tools from back then. Lots of us. Looking at a Volvo S40 2.4i sedan. Yawn. Nice car, says it needs me..

For only $1,000 I bought a 1991 Honda Civic DX Sedan with 150k miles, original engine and transmission, only need to get a oil change every 5k miles, and the previous owner even put in a new AC 😃 And even tho this car has had multiple owners, so far I only had to spend $130 on a new battery, and recently $480 on a new ignition distributor plus new valve pipe but everything else in perfect shape so this was a good deal 😁

I daily drive a 1976 Toyota Corolla it really is quite reliable for a car that's over 40 years old and has done over 240,000 km's. In the last five years Iv'e only had to change the oil, plugs, filters, fluids replace the brake pads, battery and the sealed beams and take care of a little bit of rust in the car its so simple to work on that i find it quite enjoyable whenever the car needs some repairs the only thing i don't like working on is brakes 😂

If you have a 30yr old car that isnt a sports car or a collector then it IS your daily driver, otherwise you wouldn't own it. Who has a shitty old car for special occasions?

I went to every store to look at tool chests and the best one I could find for under $400 was Husky. It's excellent. The drawers snap back in very smoothly and they were aligned properly. I got a "36 in. W 24.5 in. D 12-Drawer Tool Chest and Cabinet Combo". Looks like it's $598 now, but I got it on sale/open box for $399. It's no Snap-On, but it's also cheap and good enough!Milwaukee, Craftsman, Kobalt, Harbor Freight, and U.S. General boxes all felt scratchy, light, or didn't have a reassuring "snap" when closed.Maybe I got lucky, but the Husky was excellent. Now, I play around in my garage. If you're banging it around all day, can't vouch for the durability. My wife is happy because the garage doesn't look like Scotty's anymore. Sorry Scotty!

When buying a professional tool box, get roller bearing drawer slides. They support more weight and still open and close well.
