After watching this video I went and did a bit of research and I found out something about strange matter. Strangelets, over time, will decay to their ground state and become positively charged, and if it's charge is positive the conversion will not happen. This is because all atomic nuclei have a positive charge, so a strangelet would be electrostaticly repelled and never make direct contact with the nuclei, which is required for the conversion to start. (Also electrons are not affected because they are leptons and can not decay into quarks.)

How in the world do scientists know what's at the center of a neutron star? We haven't even reached another normal star yet. Can you tell all of this just by looking?

So wouldn't a star converted to strange matter become a black hole? If the conversion wasn't fast, might it go nova?

LOL. The most dangerous substance in the Universe. Then a graphic of 2 birds as scientists in a lab with the thing in a containment jar. A thing that could destroy all of planet Earth. Scientists have zero responsibility and cant be trusted with these kinds of dangerous technology. People are right to fear CERN and such, if there was any serious danger, do you think the scientists would care? Really good example of why people turn away from science and embrace Flat Earth.

If strange matter is so stable then why does is decay away quickly??
