  • Created by a team of passionate skateboarders, Skater XL is the most authentic and true to life skateboarding game that has ever been created. Unlike any skating game before it, Skater XL’s unique controls allow players to add style and expression to their tricks without the limits of pre-made animations. Players are in full control of the tricks they do, and how they do them. Your tricks. Your style. Skater XL releases 2020.

So you advertise the fact that it allows you to be in "full control" of your tricks, and there's me expecting them to show the game mechanics, how they work, what makes them unique etc and when they show the controls... they show nothing, just zooming in and out... Not exactly showing it's uniqueness by doing that.

Are there going to be skaters to play as? I mean, character customization is neat and all that, but I like the THPS feel of being able to control my favorite skaters too

It’s so weird. It looks like someone who’s never stood on a skateboard before.

Tony Hawk where you at? Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Tony Hawk's Underground are the best skateboarding games around. We need more games Mr. Hawk!

for people expecting this to have the same level of fun physics as the Skate franchise look elsewhere the physics in skate xl are like if tony hawk tried to implement the analog flip controls from skate.

Idk why people are mad about skater xl when session is already better, theres an early access out and the devs dont go silent for months
