- Do electric turbos actually help improve horsepower and torque? This scientific assessment uses a 900 CFM fan motor used as turbo on an old RV called the Farmabago. By the way, thanks to all who voted on the name for the RV. Farmabago" received 33% of the 32,000 votes, and the name "Cousin Eddy" received 27%. Before turbo is tested, stuck exhaust valve and broken push rod was repaired. Also, damaged mufflers removed and replaced with straight pipes and 12-inch exhaust ends added. After all the upgrades, the Farmabago makes two timed runs to determine if the electric turbo delivered more torque and horsepower.
