Genetic Engineering Will Change Everything Forever – CRISPR

  • Published on: 10 August 2016
  • Designer babies, the end of diseases, genetically modified humans that never age. Outrageous things that used to be science fiction are suddenly becoming reality. The only thing we know for sure is that things will change irreversibly.

Why anyone is not talking about this:We don't only make superhumans but superanimals and later superplants. In fact, it will change our society. Just imagine a sci–fi world where animals and plants do also get Fundamental rights and equality before law.

I for one embrace the future of human engineering. It’s the same morals of finding a an antibiotic that kills mrsa and then not telling anyone. This action condemn millions to die when technology exists to save them.

I'm actually really excited about these changes in future! But what if instead of making people stronger and smarter, they make some idiot weak babies? There are tons reasons for the leaders of the world to do so. For example controlling the society easier or just like it is mentioned in the Video, for political or military benefits! It has got a great bright side and a great dark side:) Any way I try to stay open and optimist about what it comes next!!! :D

Why do gene edits die out with the subject and only ones at the embryonic stage last? If CRISPR can edit my genes then shouldn't I be passing the same (my edited genes) to my offspring?

Como todo, van a comenzar curando el cáncer y van a terminar con dos penes. Lo que siento es que, tal como es ahora, sólo será accesible para la gente que lo pueda pagar y los pobres andarán pululando con sus enfermedades por el mundo.
