6:35 Life-long persimmon addict here. The stems can be popped off with a little skill (a little like you do with strawberries). Some persimmon varieties are EXTREMELY astringent when not ripe. What I mean is that you start eating it and it feels like it's filled with microscopic razor blades. Not fun.But there are other varieties that do not have the astringent side-effect when not ripe. They're just kind of firm and crunchy.Persimmons are best when they are so ripe you think they might be bad -- totally smushy like a super-ripe tomato, but even more so.Persimmons have an amazing flavor, but not much texture when ripe (freaking delicious slime). If you buy some and they're not ripe yet, just put them on your windowsill to sun-ripen.They're the best.

These audience reaction sounds really ruin a great video. Should re-edit this and re-upload without them.

I agree with the 'audience voice' is annoying. In another hand there're people who aren't native speakers or English expert watching this video (like me). Would be good if only he has said the fruits name.
