This is a great video and always wanted to know which battery is the best. Iโ€™m glad to see energizer is the best choice! Definitely do a rechargeable battery comparison next. Thanks again!

Great service. My 10 year guarantee Duracell Coppertop (made in China) mostly leaked in the original packaging or worse, when they were installed in remotes. Bloody annoying. Looks like American made Energiser is the way to go, or German made Varta (same company). Thanks for the video.

The Dollar store batteries are heavy duty it is a bad comparison.....Does Dollar store have alkaline vesions????They should all be alkaline in your test for a fair comparison!!!!

Rayovac is the battery I buy because you can buy them in bulk like 48 batteries in one pack, and they are made in the USA and Amazon basic is made in Indonesia, also when you buy them in bulk there penny per mAh is closer to 50mah per penny.

I used to sell on eBay and just like anyone else I would lower the price of the object and raise the shipping fee. Did you take this into account?

Can you do one of these test under arctic conditions? Also what might be real amazing would be testing the carbon style battery at low temps as well. You might be really surprised

Great stuff !!! Energizer it is from now on.......and thanks for the bounce test tip. That alone was worth many future dollars saved by NOT replacing batteries too soon. Keep up the great work!!!

I knew the Energizer lithium battery would come out on top. The military contracts with Energizer specifically for those batteries to power their optical equipment. (Night vision goggles, rifle sights, rifle mounted infrared lasers, etc.) The military only uses Energizer lithium batteries.

Always love your videos! I always felt the alkaline energizer batteries lasted a little longer than Duracell for me, cool to see some actual testing like this on them. A video idea I would find interesting would be cetane boosters for diesel fuel, with how much cetane levels vary at the pump I always use aย cetane additive when I fill up. Would be interesting to see a test with your diesel generator or something like that and see just how much the cetane boosters help performance.

Love this test. I invest in rechargeable equipment and batteries all the time. But also keep double "a" and triple"a"s as back up mostly Duracells. Now I know better. Also, I keep my spent batteries in emptied P.B. jars for safe disposal.

The new harbor freight batteries work very well. There's so many people that say they wolnt turn on anything. I've had mine in a trail camera for 5 weeks taking over 400 pics a week and the camera still says full battery.

I think a little consideration into the different technologies of the 3 types of batteries would be useful. Most products will actually tell you to only use standard or alkaline batteries and not to use lithium batteries. Most products which take lithium batteries were actually designed specifically to use them.

I have always used energizer, I run the lithium in my smoke detectors and my Fluke multimeters and network cable testing equipment. do to cost I have been thinking about switching to rechargeable Li.
