With Audi, I don't think it's fair to put Audi's S line and Quattro Line on par with things like BMW M and Mercedes AMG. A better comparison would be the RS and R line's. As for Quattro, all of the vehicles that don the logo are just AWD, and aren't inherently performance-oriented vehicles.

Yeah, because a 360hp or whatever S4/S5 is totally lame and slowWtf? S Audis have allways been around and they have allways been the fastest Audis with the "standard" chassis. What i said could be applied to other brands but idk about that THAT good

So a badge adds 5 more hp than a sticker?

Much respect on the research you do for these episodes. I'm surprised you didn't review Polestar, considering the potential to add knowledge to your viewers. Also lots of respect for Nolan's care for pronunciation, but the Hyundai pronunciation could use work. Regardless, great episode!

What does it matter if the racing division of a car company helped develop it's road car? Can not mechanical engineers do mechanical engineering? Are the ones in the racing division using a different kind of science and physics that the ones in the road car department have never heard of?

Wait. So... You're tying to tell me, that a 2000 M3, and a 2000 330i share the same powertrain?

You conveniently forgot that Honda/Acura does make a lesser version of "Type-R", called "Type-S" which is sometimes also little more than cosmetics. They all do it.

How else do you want to call the optional sport package? Everyone knows that a car with for example a s-line badge is not comparable to s or rs models, same with the m models. I didn't know it was a bad thing to be able to buy a car with an economical engine, and add some sport seats or steering wheel.

"Hun-day like Sunday" at least that's what a friend of mine told me the sales rep said when he was buying his. It's a great car brand, especially for price vs. performance!

All of that and you couldn't include the Chevrolet Super Sport line? It's only been around since 1961 and has been on damn near everything for better or worse.

Not that I am a AUDI Fan (anymore)., but I am not so sure about Audi. The S-models are more powerful. A S6 is faster than a A6 (really fast is of course only the RS6). The current Audi A6 is available as diesel only and has 257 kW (349 PS) while the most powerful engine of the A6 is the 250 kW (340 PS) and the most powerful diesel A6 has 210 kW (286 PS). Also the S6 is the fastest in acceleration - well besides the RS6 of course. There is however a "S-Line" option, and that is basically only a trim-level with some "sporty" accessories and color schemes, much as e.g. Chryslers "SRT-Design". And yout fotos seem to show S-LINE trim-level only, not S-Variants of the car. While we are at it: The current Audi diesels are not good. After the diesel scandal the they needed to meet the emissions regulations for real, and they obviously have done so programming the diesel to avoid high load / high pressure - so the engines are operated at - for diesels - quite high revs. So still much horse on paper, but no "diesel-punch" from low RPM anymore. So the latest AUDI diesels drive like crap in my opinion.

Germans annoy me the most with this, BMW the most. See the m badge on a 318d just seems like a insult.
