  • A 9,500 year old burial in Cyprus represents some of the oldest known evidence of human/cat companionships anywhere in the world. But when did this close relationship between humans and cats start? And how did humans help cats take over the world?

Big thanks to these paleoartists for allowing us to use their wonderful illustrations:

If your cat's constantly peeing on your laundry, theyvd either got a territorial issue with a cat outside, or theyve got a urinary infection x)

I learned that humans first domesticated cats not only in North Africa, but also Southeast Asia. This speculation from the genetic analysis can solve the mystery of the 9,500-year-old house cat remain from Cyprus.

Well, it's not surprising. Don't you know what Cyprus stands for? It's actually an abbreviation:C - Crazy cat lady landy -p -r -u -s -

I don't think cats are domestic animals at all. I love the information you've provided, but their behaviors and instincts just lead me to this conclusion.

If cats weren’t domesticated they would kill someone in a few seconds

What I learned out of this: We need to breed cats for a variety of purposes like we do with dogs. I want a huge guard cat!

there is no science behind it. cats love meet, humans hunt and bring meet, humans shares with cat, cat loves meet and now his new domesticated human pet.

Cats are not domesticated by any means they are all still feral. Cats are smart enough that they use hoomans for they're own ends

When the cat passed away, the bearded man was sacrificed to be buried with the cat as a means to accompany the cat in the afterlife.

Humans are a really interesting species instead of just loving and caring for their own they just have to have a pet cat , dog , wolf , tiger , lion , bear etc the list goes on and some of these habits can be dangerous when dealing with wild predators but that’s the way of humans
