Sound travels through objects, so theoretically you could have a really powerful device that could just put the fire out on an entire building in a few seconds through the walls? No? Yes? Maybe?

They could really use that sound device in Australia right about now.

So they just discovered they can put out a small fire with a speaker? I've been doing that for years. Along with many other audio enthusiasts, INCLUDING IMAX. They have a video of them doing this, except the flame isn't right next to the port, and it's blown from the air pressure alone, not from the air coming out of the port. I'm an audio enthusiast and that's part of how I test a subwoofer. Home theater subwoofers should ideally be able to go below 20hz, which humans can't hear. So the way I test if it goes below 20hz is with a candle. Put it in the room, play the test tone and if the flame moves, it can go below 20hz. I've had a couple setups that were able to just instantly blow out candles anywhere in the room. Insane stuff. There was once a small earthquake and I was watching a movie. I didn't react because I thought it was my speakers. I thought the soundtrack is a little off, it was only one note. Then one of my friends called me and asked if I felt the earthquake. Opposite thing happened too. When I got my subwoofers, the first time I used them my roommates thought there was an earthquake.I love my speakers.

Jimmy seemed seriously scared after all. I guess, he really didn't know what was going to happen. I mean, everyone knows these experiments. He is just ignorant and stupid.
