My car has a big, unstressed, if I use conventional oil, and just change it really frequently, is it basically the same (in terms of engine protection) as using a synthetic? I mean, even though it's conventional, it's basically always fresh.

Hm. With that logic, is there a way to use the bodies of humans, animals, etc. to make fossil fuels by using extreme heat and pressure without waiting thousands od years for it?

Great video... It helped me figure out that my attention span is exactly 9 minutes long. I was really interested in the topic until then... maybe i don't care about synthetic oil or maybe thats my span of caring for anything. who knows? You guys should do videos on vehicle damage... whats totaled ?... how damaged can you drive a car on the road legally? We have all seen cars without bumpers or without hoods etc... is that legal? just ideas man.

Cool to learn about the exact differences between buying synthetic vs conventional. Can you guys do a video on why Turbocharged cars typically recommend full synthetic? Is it because they produce a lot more heat? Or that they just need the better flowing oil to lubricate all the crucial components vs a NA vehicle?

The sticker on my King Ranch was $91k, a little extra miles longevity is pretty easy to justify. The old clunkers don't get synthetic, it's just not justified.

Some older diesel engines with mechanical fuel pumps and injectors don't need electricity to run after than have been started. Heck some you can start with air so you don't even need a electric start. Even some modern ones can if you have mechanical pumps and injectors.

If you go to synthetic you cannot go back to regular motor oil as the synthetic leaves a film on car parts that does not allow the regular motor oil to provide lubrication by clinging to the parts of the engine.
